Your senses will come alive as you breathe in “pure country.” The Range Riders Ranch was homesteaded in the early 1900s. It has grown to 11,000 acres and today three generations of Terlands live here. Terry and Wyoma Terland are offering to share the traditions of their working cattle ranch and the adventure of riding the range. Experience a part of the Old West that still exists! Range Riders Ranch is best known for horseback riding opportunities not easy to find today. Everything from trail rides and lessons to sleep-along-the-trail cattle drives headed to high mountain summer range. Get a glimpse of Montana history as you ride along the Old Bozeman Trail, see the land explored by Lewis and Clark, view sheepherder’s monuments and hear stories of the early homesteaders as you pass by their original cabins.
